This estimate of the Management of the Recinto Provincial de Ferias y Congresos de Jaén has been made from the extrapolation to the year 2008 of the results obtained from an economic research made in 2005. This study concludes that for one euro of income passes on 22 euros in the economy of the province.

The future

The final objective of Ferias Jaén is to compete with other Spanish and European exhibition sites in the organizations of events, turning into a service company which works as loudspeaker of the interests and needs of this province.

Finally, we want to remark that Jaén has the infrastructures for organizing any kind of events. It is not new as we can see in the magnitude of the events carried out in the last years by Ferias Jaén, from an organizational and infrastructure viewpoint.

The Recinto Provincial has sets out some challenges for continuing with its objective of being definitely one of the most important exhibition sites of Spain, in its eagerness of being an important agglutinating of efforts in the provincial socioeconomic develop.
